PLAYBOOK
AGE GROUPS: 5 TO 10 YEARS OLD
The Footballer’s Health Playbook uses football as a learning platform to help students understand how exercise, nutrition, hydration, sleep, and wellbeing support a healthy lifestyle during an engaging school visit.
Delivered through interactive activities at City Challenge, this program transforms a traditional field trip into a hands-on experience that links health education to real-world habits in an engaging, age-appropriate way, making it a meaningful school trip focused on wellbeing and healthy living.
FOOTBALL SCIENCE LAB –
THE HUMAN BODY IN ACTION
AGE GROUPS: 5 TO 10, AND 10 TO 14 YEARS OLD
In this program, students will learn how the human body performs during physical activity. The program introduces key concepts such as muscles, heart rate, reaction time, biomechanics, and energy systems through practical football-based exercises, in an hands-on learning environment.
By connecting sport with science, students gain a clearer understanding of how theory applies in real-life performance environments, in a stimulating school trip.
CAREERS IN
FOOTBALL
AGE GROUPS: 10 TO 14, AND 14 TO 18 YEARS OLD
Careers in Football introduces students to the the wide range of career opportunities within the football industry beyond being a player. The program highlights roles in coaching, sports science, marketing, event management, media, operations, and analytics.
Through case studies and scenario-based activities, students gain insight into pathways, required skills, and future opportunities within the sports sector.
MEDIA
REPORT
AGE GROUPS: 10 TO 14, AND 14 TO 18 YEARS OLD
In this program, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of sports media and reporting as part of a school visit experience. The session covers content creation, interviewing techniques, storytelling, live reporting, and digital media production. Participants will apply their learning by creating short reports or interviews, developing communication skills, confidence, and creativity in a sports-focused environment.
The program encourages informed career decision-making and entrepreneurial thinking.
